The ponies of The Herd were put into two groups for their morning walk, but they were not impressed.

We started with a group of four and left three behind in the paddock who starting neighing and calling from the moment we started our walk; those walking were neighing and returning their call... it was really so sweet.
When we got back; there was 'happiness' for a brief moment, then the next three ponies went for their walk, the four remaining in the paddock, although hot from their walk would not leave the stable area...

I stayed behind to lead them from the paddock to the field where they have a lovely dam where they love to swim, but no, even though I walked two ponies up and through the gate, they were not having it... They trotted back down and stayed at the stable neighing and calling out to those on their walk; whilst the ponies walking responded to every neigh and call!!
Once all seven ponies were back together in the paddock, rolls of joy were enjoyed by each pony with others looking on...
It is brilliant to see how these seven polo ponies have become a very close knit unit; they really have become The Herd
