Polo Ponies give of their bests in every game; riders depend on their polo pony to be fit and well for every game; but sometimes a polo pony will sustain an injury that prevents them from 'playing' polo again; if this happens, the pony is retired from polo
A retired polo pony either from injury or age needs a safe place to call home and this is where The Herd | Polo Pony Sanctuary plays a vital role in 'life-after-the-game'
